Overview

The tool "HEX Color Picker From Image" allows you to select a pixel in an image and get its hexadecimal color code.

A hexadecimal color code is a six-digit combination of numbers and letters that represents a specific color. For example, the hexadecimal code for white is #FFFFFF, and the code for black is #000000.

Use the button to select and load your image, and then hover your mouse over the image. You will see a magnified view of the image area, and the corresponding HEX color code.

HEX Color Code

The hexadecimal color model consists of six digits that represent the red, green and blue components of the color; 2 digits correspond to a component. Each component ranges between 00 and FF, encoding 256 possible values from 0 to 255.

Color names are provided by the comprehensive ArtyClick Color Dictionary with over 1,700 most common color names.
